ABEL Leadership Summit Innovation Series: BE Collaborative, facilitated by the Schulich Executive Education Centre's Innovation Centre, will be held on June 9, 2016 at York University in Toronto.  Plan to attend and bring your team!

Innovation almost never happens in isolation. In organizations, innovative ideas are usually the result of multiple brains at work. Effective leaders, therefore,  ask “How do we create a community of disparate voices and perspectives that is both willing and able to innovate?” This dynamic day, the second in our series, will focus on team and collaboration – the critical elements that drive and support successful innovation.

During this day participants will:

  • Learn to use various leadership approaches to enable and motivate the innovation team
  • Develop strategies to build effective collaboration during the innovation process
  • Learn about tools and techniques to collaborate more effectively for innovation

I found the facilitators to be knowledgeable and I loved that they presented ideas that were outside education but had many links. I found this perspective interesting!

I loved learning about the connections between collaboration and innovation and knowing what strategies to use for simple, complex and complicated problems.

Amazing facilitators ... a wealth of knowledge and very real people! I found their sessions to be very inspiring, I left with vision and mission.
